We are thrilled to introduce you to the Angels Pro Hockey program, now proudly competing in the Female Super League (FSL). We look forward to empowering our athletes and providing them with a highly competitive platform that offers increased opportunities for growth and development. The 14U division is shaping up to be very strong and will be showcasing top talent from across Western Canada.
The Angels Pro Hockey program is committed to fostering an environment where each player can thrive both on and off the ice with a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We are very excited to have the experienced coaching and mentorship of Tara Lund, a non-parent coach whose expertise and dedication will be invaluable to our players’ development. Tara is extremely passionate about the game of hockey. She brings a great blend of instilling accountability within a team environment, while ensuring the team enjoys being at the rink.
We look forward to an incredible season ahead, filled with hard work, dedication, and countless memorable moments. Collectively, we will be setting new standards for female athletes in the sport of hockey. In the 2024-25 season, we are especially excited about the introduction of our progressive contact 14U division. This addition will not only enhance the competitive experience but also prepare our athletes for the next levels of their hockey careers.

OUR PROGRAM
Our program will continue to follow a European training model that focuses on a high volume of reps, individual skills, skating, team tactics, small area games and drills. Development hours are critical to the development of the skills of our young athletes and allowing them to play the game at their best.
Angels Pro Hockey Program Information
- Consist of a guaranteed 95+ hours of on-ice development practice hours
- Minimum of 2 skill development practices/month (est. 12 – 14 sessions) ran by the SISE Development coaches or members of the Spruce Grove Saints coaching staff consisting of:
- Powerskating
- Puck skills (shooting/passing/stickhandling)
- Position specific skills training
- Tactical training mentored by Saints staff
Goalie Specific Instruction
- 10 – 12 Goalie Specific Sessions
- Goaltending instruction to come out to individual team practices to maximize instructor player ratio
Off-Ice Training
- Age specific off ice programming
- Program will be built to benefit the players in cardiovascular, agility, strength training as well as injury prevention & recovery techniques
- Off-Ice access to shooting lanes for continued skill development in stick handling and shooting techniques

- Monday’s – SISE HATCH – 8:15 – 9:30 pm (Every Week)
- Thursday’s – Morinville – 7:45 – 9:15 pm (Every Week)
Alternate Slots:
- Tuesday’s – SISE HATCH – 6:30 – 7:45 pm
- Wednesday’s – Morinville – 6:15 – 7:45 pm
