
Kimberly Abrahams
Head Coach | Waconia High School Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Team
Kimberly Abrahams has been coaching since 2001 in various aspects of hockey. Since 2006, she has been head coaching. In addition to being a head coach, she has also run skills clinics, taught individual lessons, run tryouts, performed evaluations, and coached summer hockey at various levels. These experiences have included coaching boys and girls from mites through high school and coaching/evaluating at multiple levels of the USA Hockey development camps. Abrahams is currently a girls varsity head coach in the Minnesota State High School League. Note, her resume encompasses a broad experience across the U.S. including coaching in New York, California, Connecticut, and Minnesota. Abrahams lived her bucket list dream trip to see one home game at every NHL arena during the 2011-2012 season; the details of which can be found in her coauthored book, The Hockey Tour. In addition to a life in hockey, when not at the rink, she also works as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in orthopedics.
