Dr. Lorenda Beuker is a leader in performance development, helping athletes, coaches, and teams enhance their competitive edge through research-backed strategies. With experience at the NHL, NHLCA, NCAA, USHL, NAHL, and USA Hockey levels, she specializes in optimizing sport environments to improve athlete resilience, coachability, and team dynamics.
Originating from Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. Beuker played for Team Canada in the 1999 Three Nations Cup (now the Four Nations Cup). A former elite goaltender and NCAA collegiate coach at Princeton and St. Lawrence University, she brings firsthand experience in high-performance settings and applies her research expertise in breathwork, leadership, team dynamics, and narcissism.
She is known for her three-session team workshop implementation, which has led to measurable improvements in player development and team culture. As a professor and performance researcher at Keiser University, she studies the impact of mindset training on athletic performance, with preliminary research highlighting advancements in athlete empowerment and coachability.
Now residing in Florida, Dr. Beuker works with athletes and teams across North America to enhance both individual and team success. She earned her degrees from the University of Calgary (Calgary, Canada), Clarkson University (Potsdam, NY), and the United States Sports Academy (Daphne, AL).
